Web Launch Party-Engagement!

One of the perks of my line of work is the opportunity to be present and up front at special occasions. Wedding, births, birthdays, company parties and in rare cases, engagements. I had the privilege of shooting for a good friend of mine at her web launch party last week and at the event (I knew ahead of time because her finance had planned it all out) her boyfriend proposed. It was an exciting, fun evening and I was happy to have a small part in it.

This Blog

I've been blogging for nearly five years. When I first started, it was a way to keep up a journal of my family. My husband and I live far from our family, and it has helped us keep in touch with them. Throughout the past three past year, I've grown to love photography. My family blog has been bombarded with pictures, which I also love, but since I want to keep it as a "family" blog, I've decided to start this one and have it dedicated to my pictures. I'll be posting my favorite pictures and new discoveries, and hopefully anyone else who is interested can learn too.
